Hot off the Net Exclusive Interview with Bobby Soloman Smith



Q. So for those of whom might not recognize your name, or know
exactly what you do, can you yell the readers a little bit about
yourself and your craft?

A. I am an up and coming singer from Houston Texas
I have been singing since the age of 10, I got the bug to go Professional my Jr year in
High School at a talent show, that I won.. From there, I began to work at my craft and seeking opportunities to further my career.. I was lucky enough to at the age of 19 to get an audition with a new male vocal group forming in Houston through a local management firm.. The group toured at various malls and family festivals for about 3 years, gaining fans all the while I was gaining more experience as a singer/artist. We then being to go through some members, and other problems associated with a new group, finally going solo about 3 years ago, and its has been going uphill every since..


Q. What are some of your most successful/ memorable Collaboration?

A. My Coloration with MTV Rap Star PAUL WALL, on my single "More than That" as well as my good friend JEFF Timmons of 98 Degrees and currently of the VH1 Group SureShot...

Q. What are you currently working on?

A. I just finished a new single "THE WAY THAT I LOVE U, and I will be working on a new song soon...finishing up my new CD, and then preparing to tour with Not only Jeff Timmons of 98 degrees, and sureshot but other well known artists.

Q. What can we expect to see from Bobby Soloman Smith in the future?

A. Hopefully a new sound, that will be timeless and ageless that can touch everyone. I want my music to reach generations...

Q. Is there anything else you would like our readers or your fans to
know or any thoughts you would like to close with?

A. If you believe in your dreams and work hard at your craft all things are possible... never give up... our dreams are all we have... and if you don't stand for something you WILL fall for anything... Peace BOBBY..

Hot off the Net Exclusive Interview with Money B

Q. So, for those readers out there who either are too young to know about the infamous Money B., or are simply new to hip-hop music, tell us a little bit about who you are and what you are best known for in the hip-hop community?

A. Well, I am an original member of the multi-platinum, Grammy
nominated, groundbreaking and legendary group Digital Underground.

We released our first album in 1990.
Our hits include - "Humpty Dance","Doowutchyalike", "Kiss U Back", "Freaks Of The Industry", and "Same Song (feat. Tupac Shakur)".

A lot of people don't know that Tupac started his career with Digital Underground. We're probably most known for "I Get Around", a song we did with Pac for his second solo album "Strictly For My N.I.G.G.A.'S". I was also the lead rapper in the
group Raw Fusion. We released 2 albums in the early and mid 90's.


Q. Over the past few years, what projects, collaborations, etc.,
have you been working on?

A. Too many to name, but most recently "Sex and the Studio".
It's an adult music dvd series started by myself and Cleetis Mack, another member of Digital Underground.

It's a celebrity based lifestyle dvd magazine for the grown and sexy (ha, ha). Each episode came with a bonus full soundtrack CD with all original music. At the same time, D.U. has toured consistently for the past 10 years or so.

Q. What are you currently working on, and what can we expect to see/hear from you in the future?

A. Look out for "Sex And The Studio" Episode 3.

I'm also about to release a new mix-tape. "Mandatory - Vol.1".
Me and Clee just started our new label - Mandatory Muzic. The first single is "Stuntin" feat. Eddi Projex from Oakland, Ca. And the b-side is the club banger "Solid". I'm comin' wit that Money B new millennium flow.

Q. Are there any closing thoughts or messages you would like to relay to your fans?

A. Check for ya boy. We're independent, and hungry.
I'm comin' wit it. Look for www.money.net coming soon. As well as www.mandatorymuzic.com., and sexandthestudio.com . I'm working on the first album release for Mandatory Muzic. More mix-tapes. The long awaited D.U. mixtape.
